Servicing & Hearing Aid Repair

At Balance & Hearing Institute at Farragut ENT we understand that your hearing aid can be a lifeline to the outside world, and if your device needs a repair, you want it to be completed as efficiently as possible.

Our team is experienced in handling a variety of hearing aid repairs and in most cases can complete the necessary work in our office on the day you bring them in. We will take the time to inspect and diagnose the problem and using state-of-the-art tools can bring your device back to life so you can get on with your day! However, some situations may require more than we can address in our office, and in this instance, we are happy to send your hearing aid to the manufacturer for repair.

Rest assured, however, that our dedicated team will do everything we can to make this process as painless as possible. We’ll discuss your options, keep you updated on timelines, and may offer some loaner hearing aids for the time being. We’ll do everything we can to get you back on the path to better hearing quickly.

All our patients are scheduled for regular hearing aid adjustments and cleanings. Most hearing aid problems can be addressed and solved in the office. When hearing aids must be sent for factory repair, we have a bank of loaner hearing aids that our patients can use.

Demonstrations in Office

We provide FREE demonstrations of hearing aid technologies in our office. You can experience the sound and the feel of our hearing aids in a controlled environment. If you think you might benefit from hearing aids, but you aren’t yet sure, an in-office demonstration might be right for you.

Wireless Connectivity and Bluetooth Devices

If your hearing aids come equipped with Bluetooth connectivity or other advanced features, our team will ensure that you feel comfortable taking advantage of everything your device has to offer.

Listeners with hearing aids don’t have to sacrifice premium wireless performance with phones, music players, tablets, and computers. Today’s technology allows us to link hearing aids with other smart devices to make listening easy and convenient.

More information on Hearing Aid Devices

Remember, it can take some time to get used to the way the world sounds with your hearing aids, so it’s best to take a slow and steady approach. Many of our patients wear their hearing aids for longer periods of time each day until they’ve fully adjusted while others are so excited that they use their devices full-time from the start. At Premium Hearing Care we recommend that you do whatever feels most comfortable for you but remember that our staff is always here to answer any questions and offer support along the way.

We recommend scheduling follow-up visits during the first few weeks after receiving your hearing aids, and these visits along with regular maintenance and routine evaluations will help to keep your hearing healthy for years to come. The keys to your success rest in your patience while acclimating to your hearing aids and making sure that you communicate your needs so that we can calibrate your devices to achieve optimum performance.

Tinnitus Masking Devices

Any noise in the ear (ringing, buzzing, roaring) is known as tinnitus. Tinnitus is usually related to a hearing loss but can occur even in normal hearing listeners. Tinnitus masking devices are hearing aids specially tuned to provide relief from the annoying sensation of noise inside the ear.
